What is a fundraising photo shoot day?
A fundraising shoot day is a great way to raise funds for your club, school, playgroup or nursery!
I try to be as flexible as possible so that I can cater to all sizes of clubs/schools, but here is the most popular example of what a fundraising shoot day looks like ...
9am to 5pm
Photoshoots every 15 minutes with 1 hour catch up/ lunch break
= 7 hours x 4 Shoots = maximum 28 families / photo shoot slots
I recommend charging £5 for the space - WHICH GOES STRAIGHT INTO YOUR FUNDRAISING POT!
Charging a small shoot can mount up to an extra £140 in your pot. The small charge also acts as accountability for the family booked in.
This shoot charge is completely up to the organisation and is collected by the organisation.
If you don't feel your organisation is big enough to fill a full day this is no problem! I am happy to do half days to help smaller nurseries and clubs.
How much money could a shoot day raise for my club/school?
As mentioned above, if you feel you can fill a day of shoots (9-5) you already have the £5 from all 28 slots going straight to your club which can be up to £140.
On top of that, you get 10% of order profit! This means I have raised, in total, between £300 to £600 for some organisations!
The amount raised depends on the amount of slots booked in and the amount of orders placed after.
Who is in charge of what?
Once we have chosen a date I will design a poster with the details for you to print and post up on your club notice board.
One (or two) lucky people (wink wink) from your organisation will be in charge of booking the slots. This is because you will be able to collect cash payments for shoot fee's much easier than I could. The person in charge of bookings creates a list of names and email addresses (very important I have the families email address) in their designated time slots for me to have on the day so that the day runs smoothly.
After the shoot day I will email all the families with the information needed ; When to expect their online gallery, their unique password , order deadlines etc.
Digital orders will be sent to the customers via email but product orders (prints, canvases, albums etc) can be collected or delivered to the organisation when ready.
What I need from you...
As mentioned above, I need someone to be in charge of the bookings and supply me with a spreadsheet/printed copy of the itinerary of the shoot day. Each slot should have the family name and a contact email address.
I will need into the building 1 hour before the first photo shoot to set up and 30-45 minutes to dissemble after the last shoot.
